Tax Operations Associate – Private Markets Tax Team

About the role

The private markets tax team is expanding its operational capabilities and seeks a Tax Operations Associate to support technical and operational tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with investment and investor teams to ensure compliant and efficient tax structuring for private equity and real estate funds.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support for ongoing EU and U.S. tax matters of private equity and real estate funds, including tax due‑diligence and structuring.
• Assist the annual tax compliance process in the United States, Luxembourg, France, Australia, Ireland, Switzerland and other jurisdictions, coordinating external advisors and preparing investor reporting.
• Handle FATCA and CRS (AEOI) requirements, including annual reporting and W‑8/W‑9 form reviews.
• Establish and maintain operational tax procedures and internal controls.
• Monitor changes in international and domestic tax legislation and assess their impact on the firm.
• Lead ad‑hoc tax projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s in tax, finance or accounting preferred; L.L.M. a strong plus.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on international tax experience, preferably at a Big 4 or reputable tax consultancy.
• Solid exposure to fund structuring, asset‑management tax issues, and investor tax reporting.
• Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
