Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Tax Specialist to join the Client Documentation and Tax Services Department within the Fiscal Reporting team. The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of tax statements for a range of international jurisdictions while supporting front‑office requests and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate tax statements for more than 20 jurisdictions, including Switzerland, France, Portugal, and Mexico, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Collaborate with external providers to guarantee data quality, identify anomalies, and correct inconsistencies before statement production.
• Respond to front‑office inquiries, manage tax document orders, and provide clear explanations to internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Compliance, Operations, IT and other teams to maintain smooth tax processes and participate in cross‑functional projects.
• Contribute to side projects related to tax data, information systems and operational improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of banking experience with a focus on tax services.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, structured products and derivatives (listed or OTC).
• Familiarity with European income and gains taxation is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages (German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) are advantageous.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
