Team Leader – Technical Writing (80-100%)

About the role

Hamilton Medical is looking for a motivated Team Leader to head its Technical Writing group. You will guide a small team of information developers who create end‑user documentation for medical ventilation devices used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, creation, and delivery of high‑quality user manuals, guides, and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams—engineering, clinical, regulatory—to gather specifications and ensure accurate content.
• Manage project timelines, prioritize multiple documentation streams, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Maintain and improve documentation standards, style guides, and templates.
• Oversee translation processes and ensure consistency across languages.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing and editing technical documentation for an end‑user audience.
• Strong ability to understand complex engineering specifications and translate them into clear user‑focused content.
• Excellent interpersonal and project‑management skills, with a track record of leading small teams.
• Fluent English (native level) and ability to speak or learn German.
