About the role

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a senior, consultative advisor who partners with enterprise customers to drive measurable security value and cyber‑resiliency. The role blends strategic advisory at the C‑suite level with deep technical expertise in Proofpoint deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business outcomes and ROI for customers, acting as a strategic risk advisor and executive consultant.
• Architect adoption and value‑realization plans, conduct executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
• Maintain technical expertise across the Proofpoint platform, perform health checks, and provide system performance recommendations.
• Manage interactions with Proofpoint technical support, proactively escalating issues and tracking key metrics.

Required profile

• Proven ability to deliver measurable business outcomes for enterprise customers and engage with C‑suite executives.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in ARR, renewals, and customer lifetime value.
• Extensive experience in client services, sales engineering, senior support, or IT operations with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Fluency in English and German.
