Technical Buyer and Production Planner

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Technical Buyer and Production Planner to strengthen our supply chain and production processes within the watchmaking sector. The successful candidate will ensure that all components needed for our watch collections are sourced efficiently and that production schedules run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full ordering cycle – monitor stock levels, delivery dates, quality, and costs.
• Update internal databases with order details, including dates, suppliers, quantities and discounts.
• Maintain and develop a strong supplier network through on‑site visits across Switzerland.
• Coordinate interfaces between suppliers, accounting, and production teams.
• Research new suppliers, evaluate existing ones and conduct market trend analysis.
• Develop and oversee production planning for the entire watch collection.
• Equip the workshop with required components and perform cost analyses.

Required profile

• Professional experience as a technical buyer or in a similar supply‑chain role.
• Good understanding of supply‑chain processes and logistics planning.
• Practical experience with ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
• Excellent English; French or German is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, hands‑on attitude and strong communication skills.
