Technical Project Lead – Embedded

About the role

We are a Swiss MedTech company looking for a senior engineer to become the long‑term technical successor for an established infusion pump platform. This hands‑on leadership position spans software, electronics, system architecture and overall product development.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the full lifecycle of a mature medical device platform.
• Lead product improvements, new features, future generations and regulatory updates.
• Act as the primary technical authority across embedded software, electronics, connectivity and system architecture.
• Maintain and evolve existing products while ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971 and IEC 60601.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on technical decisions and product strategy.

Required profile

• Strong background in embedded software and firmware development (C, microcontrollers, real‑time systems).
• Solid experience in electronics, including schematics, testing, analogue and digital circuits.
• Proven ability to design system architecture for complex products.
• Knowledge of connectivity technologies such as TCP/IP, RS232 and networking.
• Fluent German and good English; right to work in Switzerland.
