Technical Project Lead - Embedded

About the role

We are looking for a senior engineer to become the long‑term technical successor for an established infusion‑pump platform. The role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership across software, electronics, connectivity and system architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the development of the medical‑device platform throughout its full lifecycle.
• Lead product improvements, new features, future generations and regulatory updates.
• Act as the primary technical authority for embedded software, electronics, connectivity and system architecture.
• Maintain and evolve existing products rather than redesigning from scratch.
• Ensure development complies with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971 and IEC 60601.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on technical decisions and product strategy.

Required profile

• Strong embedded software and firmware experience (C, microcontrollers, real‑time systems).
• Background in electronics, including schematics, testing, analogue and digital circuits.
• Experience with system architecture and complex product development.
• Knowledge of connectivity technologies such as TCP/IP, RS232 and networking.
• Pragmatic, hands‑on engineer with strong problem‑solving skills and high ownership.
• Ability to work independently across multiple disciplines in a small‑team environment.
• Fluent German and good English.
• Right to work in Switzerland.
