Technology Risk Consultant - Industries (Geneva)

About the role

EY is looking for consultants to join its Technology Risk practice in Geneva, working directly with clients to help them understand and address the risks linked to technologies such as cloud, AI and data management. The role involves working with client staff and senior stakeholders, handling several assignments at once and collaborating with global EY teams.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of multiple engagements
• Evaluate the client's technology landscape and assess IT processes, risks and controls through interviews, desktop analysis and system inspection
• Review complex systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and technology governance frameworks (e.g. ITIL, COBIT, NIST)
• Take part in certification and attestation engagements such as SOC and ISAE reporting and ISO certification
• Assess system implementations, including data migration and system design and architecture
• Evaluate cybersecurity risks and recommend security improvements
• Use data analytics and process automation to improve audit efficiency
• Provide clients with practical recommendations to improve performance, efficiency and risk management

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology, Applied Economics, Commercial Science, Computer Science or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in IT auditing or a risk and assurance role
• Strong project management, people, analytical and reporting skills
• English and French business communication skills; German is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multinational environment

Required skills

• Audit tools and data analytics for large ERP and financial systems (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, JDE)
• Data analytics tools such as SQL and Power BI
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• Plus: familiarity with IT frameworks and compliance standards (COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL) and certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC or ITIL
