Training Manager

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Training Manager to design and deliver comprehensive training solutions for clients operating Waste-to-X, Renewable Gas and Power-to-X plants. You will turn complex technical knowledge into engaging learning experiences that enable safe and effective operation of our technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client training projects from scope definition through delivery, ensuring schedule, quality and budget compliance.
• Develop tailored training concepts and materials, including interactive systems, online content, graphics, animations and project‑specific terminology.
• Coordinate delivery with clients, project teams, suppliers, commissioning and operations teams, technical specialists and translation providers.
• Conduct classroom, hands‑on and online training for shift leaders, operators and maintenance personnel, with approximately three months of international site travel per year.
• Drive continuous improvement of training solutions, support tender and budget preparation, develop internal Academy programmes and share lessons learned across projects.

Required profile

• Degree in mechanical, electrical or process engineering or comparable technical qualification.
• Proven experience in plant operation or commissioning, preferably within interdisciplinary projects in a complex international organisation.
• Strong experience in training and content development, creating clear learning materials using text, graphics, photos and animations.
• Excellent analytical, communication and organisational abilities, with the capacity to explain complex technical topics and coach colleagues.
• Fluent spoken and written English; German is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Visio.
• Familiarity with process engineering concepts.
