Transfer Pricing Manager – Financial Services (80‑100% FTE)

About the role

The Transfer Pricing Manager will lead multi‑country transfer pricing projects for multinational clients in the financial services sector, based in Zurich. You will design and optimise business models, implement global strategies and advise on transfer pricing policies, governance and dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate transfer pricing engagements across several jurisdictions.
• Develop new business‑model concepts or optimise existing ones and oversee their global rollout.
• Analyse global value chains, product and service flows to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Advise clients on setting, documenting and defending transfer pricing policies and negotiate advance rulings with tax authorities.
• Support dispute‑resolution assignments and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with PwC’s global transfer pricing network and provide training to internal and client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in transfer pricing, preferably within a consultancy or financial services environment.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑country projects and work with senior stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of OECD guidelines and local tax regulations.
• Fluent English; German strongly preferred, French a plus.
• Excellent analytical mindset and result‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with transfer‑pricing software (preferred).
