Travel Planning Specialist

About the role

Globus Travel Services, based in Switzerland and supporting the Globus family of brands, is hiring a full-time, on-site Travel Planning Specialist in Lugano. The role sits in the Planning and Coordination department and supports the development and coordination of seasonal travel itineraries, keeping them accurate, consistent and aligned with brand standards through close collaboration with internal departments and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and updating of seasonal travel itineraries
• Collaborate with other departments in developing itineraries
• Maintain planning databases and related documentation
• Draft website content and coordinate with the web editor to ensure updates
• Prepare planning files for market launches
• Conduct and maintain competitor analysis
• Assist markets in preparing the Planner/AU brochure
• Compile statistics for sponsorship opportunities
• Take part in regular cross-departmental meetings

Required profile

• 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
• Fluent English; native or bilingual proficiency preferred
• Solid geographic and destination knowledge, including travel logistics, visa requirements and regional regulations
• Degree in tourism or business considered a plus
• Ability to work under pressure, collaborate with international markets and cross-functional teams, and deliver end-to-end solutions independently
