Trilingual Veterinary Claims Specialist – English, French & German

About the role

As a Trilingual Veterinary Claims Specialist you will assess pet insurance claims using veterinary medical knowledge, critical thinking and policy expertise. You will review medical records, invoices and policy information to determine claim eligibility and provide fair, timely decisions while supporting pet owners, veterinary teams and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review veterinary medical records, clinical notes, invoices and policy information to evaluate claim eligibility and determine outcomes.
• Apply policy language, claims guidelines and established processes consistently and accurately.
• Conduct secondary claim reviews as part of the appeals process and communicate rationale clearly.
• Investigate complex claim scenarios, gather missing documentation and liaise with veterinary clinics, specialists or pet owners.
• Communicate claim decisions, status updates and policy questions via phone and email.
• Maintain accurate records in multiple internal systems and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English, German and French.
• 2+ years of experience in a customer‑facing veterinary, animal health, pet insurance or related environment.
• Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology, common conditions, treatments and diagnostics.
• Experience working directly with clients or pet owners in a veterinary setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and technologies.
