About the role

Join johnsonelectric to lead the development of cutting‑edge thermal management systems for electric vehicles. You will design sustainable refrigerant modules, integrate AI‑driven simulations, and influence product roadmaps in a global, matrixed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead vehicle thermal system development and design of advanced thermal modules using sustainable refrigerants.
• Collaborate with simulation, design, test and control engineers across cross‑functional teams.
• Specify, evaluate and validate sub‑modules and components to meet performance and environmental targets.
• Manage technical exchanges with suppliers, partners and customers.
• Integrate simulation insights and AI tools to refine system designs and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in thermodynamics and thermal system design.
• Previous automotive industry experience with knowledge of global thermal system regulations.
• Master’s degree in Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field (PhD is a plus).
• Fluency in English and French, German or Italian.
