Veterinary Pathologist – Early Drug Discovery

About the role

The Tissue & Spatial Technologies Platform within Roche’s 360 Labs is seeking a board‑certified Veterinary Pathologist to support early drug discovery. You will evaluate preclinical studies, provide anatomical and pathological expertise, and help drive the platform’s operational success.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pathological evaluation of preclinical studies during target assessment and early discovery phases.
• Serve as the primary contact for anatomical, physiological and pathological consultations for internal and external scientists.
• Collaborate with the Platform Head on capacity planning, gap analysis and project request management.
• Interface with other Roche pathology groups and stay current with emerging histology and digital pathology technologies.

Required profile

• DVM degree with board certification (ECVP/ACVP) and at least 3 years of experience in academia or pharma/biotech.
• Strong diagnostic and analytical expertise in preclinical animal models.
• Team‑oriented mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
