VIE/PANGEO QHSE & HSE Compliance Role

About the role

Join Veolia Industry Building in Basel as a VIE/PANGEO specialist focusing on QHSE and HSE compliance. You will work closely with the QHSE Manager to harmonise practices and ensure legal compliance across the group, gaining expertise in Swiss regulations while contributing to global best‑practice exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the legal register (Red‑On‑Line) and track new regulatory requirements.
• Support QHSE requirement assessments and implementation.
• Participate in incident management, including documentation, data analysis and corrective‑action follow‑up.
• Manage environmental compliance data (thermal and river parameters) and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain QHSE documentation such as procedures, instructions and checklists.
• Develop QHSE data‑management tools and Smartsheet dashboards.
• Collect, analyse and report QHSE KPIs in monthly, quarterly and customer‑specific reports.
• Assist in internal audits, inspections and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• University or engineering degree (environmental sciences, chemistry, engineering, safety/HSE or related).
• Initial practical experience through internships or projects in QHSE, HSE or regulatory compliance (advantageous but not mandatory).
• German (minimum B2), English (minimum C1) and French language skills.

What we offer

• Monthly net remuneration of €3,463.17.
