Working Site Superintendent

About the role

Menemsha is seeking a Working Site Superintendent to lead commercial and retail tenant‑improvement projects. The role involves hands‑on construction trade work, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• On‑site management of commercial/retail tenant‑improvement projects, maintaining schedule and quality.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, keeping them on task and monitoring performance.
• Address project delays, adverse weather, or unforeseen conditions to keep work progressing.
• Enforce safety, security, and health standards; keep job sites clean and properly signed.
• Serve as the professional client interface, communicating clearly during site visits.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations to avoid fines or interruptions.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and General Site Superintendent on field change orders and client approvals.
• Provide daily project status updates to management and post progress on the online project‑management portal.
• Participate in punch‑walks and close‑out activities with clients.

Required profile

• Professional appearance as the company representative on the field.
• Comfortable performing construction trade work and managing subcontractors.
• Willingness to travel for up to six weeks or more at a time.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment focused on teamwork and client satisfaction.
