Working Student - Digital Internal Communications (Trainee)

About the role

Sulzer, a leading engineering company, is looking for a Working Student (50% time) in Digital Communications to join its Group Functions division in Winterthur. The role supports the team in crafting, editing and distributing messages across all channels, covering web content, internal communications and social media.

Key responsibilities

• Support intranet management and handle intranet-related inquiries
• Support internal and external communications projects
• Support content production and publish content on the intranet
• Help content editors create new pages and publish content
• Provide training to new content editors
• Support intranet development initiatives and the intranet mailbox
• Support the communications team with other communications tasks

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university with a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Data Analytics or a related field
• Interest in digital communication, social media and content creation
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage several tasks and meet deadlines
• Team player and self-motivated learner
• Fluent in English and German; other languages are a plus

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of content management systems, social media platforms and analytics tools is an advantage
