Controller (d/f/m)

About the role

The Controller will lead the Finance, Administration and Logistics functions for United Machining, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and control systems. You will partner with business units to provide strategic financial insight and drive performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for Finance, Administration and Logistics, including policy compliance and internal controls.
• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities for statutory and group reporting.
• Own forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis and management reporting processes.
• Analyze business performance, identify optimisation opportunities and support strategic decision‑making.
• Drive profitability, cash‑flow and working‑capital improvements while leading SAP‑related process optimisation projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in controlling and financial management.
• Strong expertise in IFRS, group reporting and consolidation processes.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP (or comparable ERP) and excellent Excel skills.
• Fluent in German and English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Analytical, structured, solution‑oriented with a commercial mindset and entrepreneurial approach.
• Proven experience leading, developing and coaching teams and managing stakeholders.
