Quality Manager – Global Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Manager to own a single quality system across our established MW‑scale facility in Nyon, Switzerland and our new US operation in Houston, Texas. You will ensure identical quality standards, specifications, control plans and records at both sites, supporting our fuel‑cell power platform for AI data centers, defense and industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a common QMS covering Nyon and Houston, including ISO 9001 certification in the US.
• Harmonise product specifications, control plans, inspection criteria and acceptance standards across both sites.
• Implement in‑process quality controls for stack assembly – cleanliness, leak testing, torque/compression control and alignment.
• Lead supplier quality for a shared global supply base, handling qualification, audits, first‑article inspection and ongoing performance.
• Oversee contract manufacturers and assembly partners, managing audits, quality agreements and source inspections.
• Manage NCR and CAPA processes, ensuring findings are applied consistently at both locations.
• Maintain traceability and product records with a unified lot‑genealogy model.
• Support regional certification efforts for stationary hydrogen power systems in Europe and the US.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning quality across multiple manufacturing sites, preferably in different countries.
• Background establishing or rebuilding a quality function and authoring a QMS.
• Hands‑on in‑process and incoming quality experience with control plans, inspection methods and process capability.
• Supplier quality expertise, including audits and qualification.
• Strong structured problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills with a track record of closing recurring defects.
• Familiarity with product certification processes in regulated energy or power equipment sectors.
• Ability to work across time zones and influence remote sites.
