Railway Track Constructor (CFC) – H/F

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Railway Track Constructor to join our client’s mobile construction teams across Switzerland. The role involves building, maintaining and renovating railway tracks, ensuring high safety and quality standards on dynamic work sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lay rails, sleepers (traverses) and ballast according to project specifications.
• Operate specialised machinery such as track tampers, stabilisers and other rail‑working equipment.
• Perform cutting, welding and fitting of rails on site.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on mobile construction sites.
• Adhere to Swiss safety regulations and quality standards throughout all activities.

Required profile

• Possession of a Swiss CFC (vocational) qualification in railway construction or a related field.
• Previous experience in railway or civil‑engineering projects.
• Machinist licence M2 and OCVM10 certification (preferred).
• Good physical condition and willingness to work outdoors.
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel to various sites.
• Fluent French language skills.
