Global Manager Inventories

About the role

AB InBev is seeking a Global Manager – Inventories to lead the definition, governance, and continuous improvement of the company’s worldwide inventory strategy. Based at the global headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, you will balance service level, working capital, and operational efficiency across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a global inventory strategy aligned with business objectives, customer service targets, and financial goals.
• Develop segmentation, target‑setting methodologies, and stocking strategies for finished goods, WIP, and raw materials.
• Lead design and deployment of inventory planning models, including safety stock, cycle stock, buffer strategies, and postponement.
• Partner with demand and supply planning teams to improve forecast‑to‑inventory integration.
• Establish global KPIs, analyze drivers, and create executive dashboards for strategic decision‑making.
• Provide thought leadership to regional inventory teams and collaborate with Finance on working capital planning.
• Support supply‑chain transformation initiatives, system implementations, and adoption of advanced analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Business, Engineering).
• Extensive experience in global inventory management, planning, and analytics.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
