Retail Learning Manager – Central Europe (Maternity Cover)

About the role

The Retail Learning Manager will be based in Geneva and will lead the training and development of retail talent across Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. Reporting to the Retail Director Central Europe, this position is a maternity‑leave replacement and focuses on translating corporate training strategies into regional actions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and roll‑out learning programmes for store managers and client advisors, covering selling skills, product knowledge and career development.
• Lead a small team of Field Coach Trainers and ensure consistent coaching culture across the region.
• Identify skills gaps, adapt training content and provide ongoing feedback to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Clienteling, Retail Performance, Operations, Finance and HR to develop inductions, academies, product retraining and client‑experience workshops.
• Maintain an active shop‑floor presence to observe, coach and refine training delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail training, coaching or learning development, preferably in luxury or fashion retail.
• Strong ability to partner with store management and HR to build learning road‑maps.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a focus on feedback and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Active coaching techniques and role‑play facilitation.
• Ability to design and deliver structured training programmes.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus.
