Science Teacher (Middle & High School)

About the role

The successful candidate will join Collège du Léman to teach Science to Middle School (Secondaire) and/or High School students, starting 13 August 2026 on a full‑time basis. The role may also include responsibilities as a homeroom advisor, contributing to the school’s vibrant international community.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the school’s mission and RISE values (Respect, Internationalism, Spirit, Excellence) by supporting day and boarding students.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that prioritises student health and well‑being.
• Engage and motivate learners of all abilities, using educational technology to enhance instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum coherence across grade levels.
• Assess student work, record grades in the online grade book, and produce timely school reports.
• Deliver Science lessons using existing resources; may also teach Chemistry at High School level.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.

Required profile

• Relevant Science qualification together with a recognized teaching qualification.
• Master’s degree in a suitable pedagogical area is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching Middle and/or High School students in an international school setting, preferably where English is not the first language.
• Ability to support students with diagnosed learning differences.
• Experience as a homeroom advisor is an asset.
• Native‑level English proficiency and competence in integrating educational technology into lessons.
