Account Manager – Pharma & Personal Care

About the role

Join Ecolab’s Life Sciences Division as an Account Manager focused on pharmaceutical and personal‑care customers. You will work remotely, driving growth and delivering technical solutions that improve cleaning, disinfection and operational efficiency for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a portfolio of pharma and personal‑care customers, identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Lead commercial discussions, negotiate contracts and build long‑term relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop and implement customer‑specific technical solutions, deliver presentations and training sessions, and recommend process optimisations.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitive activity, maintaining accurate sales documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Corporate, Distribution and Business Development managers to ensure customer success and business growth.

Required profile

• Scientific degree or technical education with a strong interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment and in selling technical products or solutions.
• Deep understanding of industrial production processes and a consultative, customer‑focused sales approach.
• Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
• Fluent in French and German, both written and spoken.
