About the role

Join CERN’s Early Career Professionals program in the technical field. This 24‑month fixed‑term position offers a fast‑paced environment where you can contribute to a variety of technical projects and gain exposure to cutting‑edge research facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing technical projects across CERN’s laboratories.
• Support unpublished projects or address extra technical needs as they arise.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a high‑energy research setting.

Required profile

• National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
• Maximum of two years professional experience since graduation.
• Highest qualification: general secondary education diploma (no Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD).
• No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract.
• Working knowledge of English or French.
