Global Project Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead a portfolio of development, line extension, post‑approval, technology and continuous‑improvement projects in a regulated healthcare environment. The role is based in Basel and requires occasional travel within Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex product development and lifecycle‑management projects from initiation through implementation.
• Define and maintain detailed development plans, timelines, budgets and milestones.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage scope, schedules, resources and dependencies.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans and ensure compliance with design‑control and regulatory requirements.
• Engage internal stakeholders, external partners and vendors, acting as the primary communication hub.
• Produce project dashboards, status reports and maintain centralized documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 8‑11 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in medical device, pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience managing drug and/or medical‑device development projects, especially combination products.
• Fluent English; additional German, Japanese or Danish is a plus.
