IT System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT System Engineer to design, deploy and maintain enterprise‑wide infrastructure solutions across on‑premises, hybrid and cloud environments. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure secure, highly available and scalable production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate enterprise IT infrastructure in on‑premises, hybrid and cloud settings.
• Administer and support highly available, secure, and scalable production systems.
• Participate in transformation projects such as migrations, consolidations, modernization and cloud adoption.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, operational best practices and performance requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and system issues.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business units to deliver IT solutions aligned with business goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of architecture, automation and operational processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing, supporting and operating enterprise IT infrastructures.
• Proven track record delivering infrastructure projects from design through implementation.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a hands‑on approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft ecosystem: Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure, Windows Server.
• Infrastructure security: backup, endpoint protection, XDR, monitoring, SIEM, identity management.
• Virtualization/containerization: VMware, Hyper‑V, Citrix, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Enterprise networking: LAN/WAN, VPN, SD‑WAN, wireless, load balancing, security appliances.
• Server, storage and compute infrastructure.
• Deployment and automation tools: Intune, MECM/SCCM, PowerShell.
