About the role
ABB is looking for a Senior Engineering Specialist to lead product engineering for its Power Protection business in Quartino. You will ensure technology, assembly methods, and processes meet ABB guidelines and manage the full product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with R&D to define industrialisation solutions for new products.
- Validate technical deliverables such as validation protocols and DFMEA analyses during development.
- Validate technical solutions introduced during product life‑cycle management.
- Provide technical support to production teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics (Master's a plus).
- At least 5 years of experience in electronics/power electronics, especially frequency converter technologies.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
- Fluent in English.
Required skills
- DFMEA analysis.
- Product development process.
- Power conversion knowledge.
- Electronics and power electronics expertise.
