Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an analytical and tech‑savvy Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The role combines core accounting duties with a focus on process optimisation and digital innovation, allowing you to make a tangible impact on our financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities.
• Execute operational accounting tasks accurately and on time.
• Analyse existing finance processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation.
• Participate in finance transformation and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Assist SAP FI/MM initiatives and collaborate on procurement system enhancements.
• Leverage digital tools and AI solutions to increase efficiency across finance operations.
• Work with internal stakeholders to streamline workflows and implement best practices.
• Contribute to projects that improve financial reporting quality and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Completed education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Initial experience in accounting, financial operations or process management.
• Experience supporting financial closings (monthly, quarterly, annual) is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement.
• High affinity for digital tools, ERP systems and automation.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills.
