Administrative Assistant (M/F) – Chemical Industry

About the role
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant (M/F) to support our client in the chemical industry. The role involves coordinating purchase order processes, managing vendor relationships, monitoring budgets, and providing internal customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the purchase order workflow, ensuring timely processing.
- Manage vendor data, prepare vendor requests, and keep master data up‑to‑date.
- Communicate with vendors, finance & accounting, purchasing/sourcing, and legal teams to guarantee smooth process flow.
- Monitor expenses, prepare budget reports, and verify that expenditures stay within allocated budgets.
- Assist internal customers by understanding company procedures, handling interactions, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Required profile
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in purchase order coordination or vendor management.
- Ability to handle budget monitoring and reporting.
- Good understanding of internal customer service processes.
