Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker – Basel, Switzerland

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker to join our maintenance team in Basel. The role involves performing structural repairs and modifications on a variety of commercial and business‑jet airframes while ensuring the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute aircraft structural repairs, modifications, installations and component replacements.
• Carry out stringer repairs and other detailed airframe work.
• Interpret Service Bulletins, Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with aviation quality and safety regulations.
• Support a safe and efficient working environment in the hangar and workshop.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker or Structural Technician.
• Strong background in airframe repairs and modifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Good English communication skills (minimum B2 level).
• Swiss nationality or EU/EFTA passport holder with the right to work in Switzerland.

Required skills

• Aircraft structural repair and modification techniques.
• Stringer repair and component replacement.
• Interpretation of SRMs, Service Bulletins and engineering drawings.
• Fabrication skills such as forming and bending.
• Familiarity with Falcon, Gulfstream, Boeing or Airbus platforms (advantageous).
