Android Software Engineer

About the role

We are building a proactive smart assistant that brings AI to everyday mobile experiences. As an Android Software Engineer you will own the Android client, ensuring AI interactions feel natural, performant and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain production Android applications using Kotlin.
• Integrate AI‑powered features such as chat, vision, voice and recommendations via backend APIs.
• Design UX patterns for streaming responses, retries and partial results.
• Optimize performance, memory usage and responsiveness for AI‑heavy flows.
• Implement analytics, logging and feedback mechanisms to support AI evaluation.
• Collaborate with backend and ML engineers on API contracts and system behavior.
• Ensure app stability, security and scalability in production environments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI features (LLM, vision, speech APIs).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow).
• Familiarity with REST or gRPC APIs and structured data formats.
• Proficient debugging and performance profiling skills.
• Experience building apps that handle latency, partial failures and non‑deterministic behavior.
• Published production apps on Google Play Store.
