Assembler II

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an Assembler II to join its manufacturing team. In this role you will contribute to the production of medical technologies by performing a range of assembly tasks, supporting quality standards, and helping maintain smooth operations on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repetitive and non‑repetitive assembly operations using visual aids, diagrams, schematics, and written or verbal instructions.
• Set up initial product layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare components for assembly.
• Conduct continuity checks on work‑in‑process and completed assemblies.
• Perform quality inspections in line with specifications and document findings.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies as required.
• Support manufacturing and distribution center activities, including operating automatic or semi‑automatic machines, reporting malfunctions, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing or supply‑chain operational procedures, systems, and tools gained through experience.
• Ability to work as an established individual contributor under moderate supervision.
• Judgment to perform intermediate tasks in production or distribution environments.
• Willingness to highlight concerns or problems within the work area.
• Capability to communicate with internal contacts and provide guidance to new or entry‑level employees when needed.
