About the role
The Assistant Banquet Manager supports the Banquet Manager in daily operations at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva. This position ensures seamless service delivery for events, while acting as the primary point of contact when the manager is absent.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Banquet Manager with all day‑to‑day tasks and decision‑making.
- Serve as the main liaison for the Banquet Service during the manager’s absence.
- Oversee fixed staff, temporary workers, and external vendors to guarantee smooth event execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with all hotel departments to ensure coordinated service.
- Drive revenue growth for the banquet department while controlling costs.
- Act as the department’s ambassador, promoting a high‑standard guest experience.
Required profile
- Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
- Analytical thinking and sound judgment for both spontaneous and long‑term decisions.
- Ability to develop and mentor staff members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster cordial inter‑departmental relations.
