About the role
The Chef de Rang will be a key member of the Guest Service team at The Ritz‑Carlton Hotel de la Paix Geneva, delivering memorable dining experiences in a luxury setting. You will work closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house staff to ensure seamless service and uphold the brand’s high standards.
Key responsibilities
- Set and arrange tables according to the restaurant’s standards.
- Communicate guest orders accurately to the kitchen and coordinate timing of service.
- Serve food and beverages, attend to guest requests, and ensure satisfaction throughout the meal.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including polishing serviceware and restocking supplies.
- Handle payment transactions and assist guests with billing when required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Less than one year of related experience in food and beverage service.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unassisted.
