Associate Engineer – Mechanical Design

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Associate Engineer with a strong passion for mechanical design, research & development, and industrial product development. You will work on cutting‑edge industrial products, turning concepts into manufacturing‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mechanical design solutions for new industrial products.
• Design plastic components and stamped/bent sheet‑metal parts.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and product teams to ensure designs are ready for manufacturing.
• Support product optimisation and redesign activities.
• Create 3D models and technical documentation using CAD software.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, R&D, or product development.
• Proven experience designing plastic components and sheet‑metal parts.
• Strong knowledge of CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Good command of English; German is a strong plus.
