AWS Platform Engineer

About the role

Nuvibit is seeking a full‑time hybrid AWS Platform Engineer based in Zurich, with flexibility for remote work. You will design, implement and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure while ensuring security and compliance across client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy robust, scalable AWS architectures.
• Maintain and optimise cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud‑system issues and resolve incidents.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using automation tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in AWS platform management and infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in software development and programming concepts.
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex cloud environments.
• Understanding of database concepts and management.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant AWS certifications and knowledge of compliance frameworks are a plus.
