Back End Developer

About the role

Claustrum is seeking a Back End Developer for a full‑time hybrid position. The role offers flexibility to work remotely part of the time while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to build and maintain scalable server‑side applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back‑end services and APIs.
• Ensure seamless integration with front‑end components.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and promote efficient, scalable designs.
• Collaborate with product, design, and front‑end teams to improve system performance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in back‑end web development and software development.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming (OOP).
• Basic understanding of front‑end development principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment (a plus).
