Biotech Manufacturing Technician

About the role

UCB is seeking a meticulous and autonomous Biotech Manufacturing Technician to join the BP1 team in Bulle, Switzerland. The role involves performing routine DSP production activities on a 5x8 schedule while adhering to strict quality, GMP and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production activities within defined timelines and quality standards.
• Apply and follow established production procedures and associated processes.
• Ensure GMP compliance throughout the production zones.
• Strictly observe HSE rules and promptly report any hazardous situations.
• Troubleshoot simple technical issues and escalate complex incidents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain clean facilities.

Required profile

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, food‑processing or a comparable regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and regulated manufacturing settings.
• Proficiency with DSP production processes.
• Familiarity with industrial automation systems such as DCS and MES.
• Ability to manage priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills.
