Blockchain Security Engineer

About the role

ChainSecurity is looking for a Blockchain Security Engineer to audit complex blockchain projects, identify vulnerabilities, and help secure the future of decentralized finance. You will work closely with top development teams and contribute to cutting‑edge security tools.

Key responsibilities

• Audit code and secure products for leading blockchain teams.
• Collaborate with the internal research team to develop and improve security tools.
• Conduct security research, publish findings, and stay ahead of emerging threats.

Required profile

• Strong background in software engineering with a focus on security.
• Experience or familiarity with penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or threat modeling.
• Good written communication skills and ability to work with developers.

Required skills

• Cryptography knowledge
• Proficiency with Linux and Git
• Object‑oriented programming (any OOP language)
• Formal verification, white‑box testing, and vulnerability scanning
• Solid understanding of blockchain concepts and consensus algorithms
