Boutique Director – Flagship Store, Geneva

About the role

Universal Genève is opening its first ever boutique in Geneva and seeks a proactive leader to launch and run the flagship store. As Boutique Director you will shape the brand’s retail identity, build the team from scratch and deliver an unrivalled luxury experience to local and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the boutique’s client experience, guiding each customer from inquiry through delivery with personalized service.
• Act as the primary brand ambassador, cultivating high‑level relationships with Geneva’s elite and organising exclusive private viewings.
• Take full P&L responsibility, monitor market trends and adjust strategies to exceed sales targets.
• Oversee daily operations, inventory control, security and back‑of‑house standards.
• Recruit, train and lead an Assistant Boutique Director and a team of Client Advisors, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in luxury retail or high‑end watchmaking.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building or turning around boutique operations.
• Deep understanding of the luxury watch market and clienteling best practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with an international clientele.
