Business Development Manager – AI Solutions for Life Sciences

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the sales of our AI‑driven process automation solutions for Quality and Regulatory teams in the Life Sciences and Pharma sector. The role covers the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding, working with global customers from a hybrid office in Winterthur.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective Life Science and Pharma clients to generate new business.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process including discovery calls, proof‑of‑concepts, negotiations and contract closing.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals and business cases that illustrate the value of AI‑enabled document workflow automation.
• Maintain and grow a pipeline, track performance metrics and contribute to sales forecasting.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and client meetings.
• Provide market feedback to the product team to guide future development.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of business development or consulting experience in a B2B environment.
• Prior exposure to Life Science, Pharma or Biotech sectors.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
