Business Development Manager – AI Solutions for Life Sciences

About the role

We are a Swiss‑based software company delivering AI‑driven process automation to global Life Science and Pharma organisations. As a Business Development Manager you will own the full sales cycle, from discovery calls to onboarding, helping customers adopt our SaaS AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and nurture relationships with prospective Life Science clients to generate revenue.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, including lead generation, pitching, proof‑of‑concepts, negotiation and closing.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals and business cases tailored to client needs.
• Monitor sales metrics, contribute to forecasting and maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and meetings.
• Provide market feedback to the product team to shape future enhancements.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of business development or consulting experience in a B2B tech environment.
• Prior exposure to Life Science, Pharma or Biotech sectors.
• Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
