Business Office Manager

About the role

The Business Office Manager supports the Facility Director and Clinical Manager to ensure the center operates efficiently, cost‑effectively, and with a patient‑centered focus. This position oversees non‑clinical staff and coordinates all accounting, billing, and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior leadership in day‑to‑day operations and financial management of the center.
• Supervise and motivate business‑office personnel, ensuring high performance and compliance.
• Manage computerized accounting and billing systems, overseeing revenue cycle, invoicing, and collections.
• Communicate with physicians, insurance representatives, patients, and external partners to resolve billing issues and promote a positive image.
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, coding standards, and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); college degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in an ASC or hospital business office.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to lead staff, communicate with diverse stakeholders, and uphold regulatory standards.
