About the role

The Chef de Rang Lounge will join the Savoy Brasserie & Bar team at Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich. You will support the bar and brasserie to deliver impeccable service, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience in a luxury setting.

Key responsibilities

Provide professional advice, serving food and drinks, and maintain high‑quality service standards.
Prepare mise‑en‑place, cover and clean the restaurant area, and support special events.
Register all transactions in the Infrasys cash register system and ensure accurate cash accounting.
Comply with hygiene regulations and HACCP guidelines.

Required profile

Completed vocational training in the hotel or catering industry.
Excellent communication skills, well‑groomed appearance and positive charisma.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, and ability to perform under pressure.
Very good knowledge of German and English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

Basic computer skills.
Familiarity with the Infrasys cash register system.
Knowledge of the SevenRooms booking system (advantageous).
