About the role
The Chef de Rang Lounge will join the Savoy Brasserie & Bar team at Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich. You will support the bar and brasserie to deliver impeccable service, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience in a luxury setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide professional advice, serving food and drinks, and maintain high‑quality service standards.
- Prepare mise‑en‑place, cover and clean the restaurant area, and support special events.
- Register all transactions in the Infrasys cash register system and ensure accurate cash accounting.
- Comply with hygiene regulations and HACCP guidelines.
Required profile
- Completed vocational training in the hotel or catering industry.
- Excellent communication skills, well‑groomed appearance and positive charisma.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, and ability to perform under pressure.
- Very good knowledge of German and English; additional languages are a plus.
Required skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with the Infrasys cash register system.
- Knowledge of the SevenRooms booking system (advantageous).
