Cloud Engineer – Azure & Kubernetes (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud & Infrastructure team in Chiasso. You will design, migrate and operate Microsoft Azure‑based platforms, helping modernise MF Group’s infrastructure and ensure reliable, scalable cloud services for critical business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support migration of applications and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) to Azure.
• Design, deploy and operate containerised workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Automate cloud infrastructure and operational tasks using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Monitor, optimise and ensure performance, scalability and high availability of production systems.
• Contribute to observability, monitoring and documentation of platform standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Up to 3 years of experience or strong interest in Cloud Engineering, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Awareness of security, data protection and compliance concepts (e.g., PII/GDPR) is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
