IT Support Expert (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Expert (unlimited, full‑time) to join our team in Chiasso. The role focuses on delivering reliable first‑level IT support and ensuring a smooth day‑to‑day user experience across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for internal users, handling incidents, service requests and troubleshooting across notebooks, peripherals, collaboration tools, VPN, printers and standard business applications.
• Support device lifecycle operations including preparation, enrollment, handover, stock coordination, replacements, refresh activities and asset tracking.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end employee onboarding and offboarding, managing workstation readiness, account setup, access assignment/removal and equipment handover.
• Maintain user administration tasks such as password resets, permission changes, mailbox support and update knowledge‑base documentation.
• Monitor system alerts, initiate initial response, coordinate escalation and communicate status to users and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in IT support or service desk.
• Hands‑on experience in first‑level user support, incident handling and request fulfillment.
• Good understanding of Windows‑based workplace environments and common business applications.
• Experience with onboarding/offboarding processes, access control and asset tracking.
• Strong communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset.
