Co-Tech Lead & Senior Python Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Co‑Tech Lead & Senior Python Backend Developer to drive the growth of LocalBini’s platform. You will shape the backend architecture, lead development efforts and work closely with a remote team and the business unit in St. Gallen.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust Python backend services and REST APIs.
• Build and maintain infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, covering PaaS, SaaS, FaaS and IaaS components.
• Collaborate with the system architect and remote developers to ensure scalable, high‑quality code.
• Create and maintain comprehensive unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests.
• Produce technical documentation and support data‑science initiatives.
• Apply security best practices to protect user data.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of commercial experience developing Python applications.
• Strong background in AWS services, Terraform and event‑driven micro‑service architectures.
• Experience working with remote, part‑time teams and agile development processes.
