Commercial Controller – Finance & Business Partner

About the role

Do you enjoy transforming data into business decisions? We are looking for a highly analytical and business‑oriented Commercial Controller to join our Switzerland Controlling team. In this role you will act as a key business partner for Sales, Marketing, Real Estate and Finance teams, helping drive performance across one of Switzerland’s leading retail networks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse commercial performance across stores, banners and product categories, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Provide actionable recommendations to Sales and Management teams and conduct profitability analyses at store, area and network level.
• Support budget, forecast and target‑setting processes and monitor performance against commercial objectives.
• Design, calculate and monitor incentive schemes and assess the effectiveness of commercial initiatives.
• Develop and enhance management reporting and performance dashboards, driving continuous improvement of reporting automation and data quality.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience in Controlling, Commercial Finance, Business Analytics or Performance Management, preferably in FMCG, Retail or Consumer Goods.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving capabilities and ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
• Fluent in English and strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
